Spring is coming. A lot of us have been somewhat holed-up and isolated over the winter. Let's do something in the spirit of community!

I recorded a somewhat hypnotic, very repetitive, very simple acoustic guitar track with minimal processing. The link to the Soundcloud will be posted. My hope is that many of you will download the track and use it as a springboard to be creative.

Do whatever you feel like doing. Process my track, add your own, do a visceral one-take or spend weeks creating a prog-rock dreamscape... the only limit is your imagination (how cliche!). This is not a contest and nobody will judge you. My goal is to have enough music to create a page to host them.

Stipulation: submissions obviously must have the original track in place. Doesn't have to be the whole way through though. Also let's keep the length of submissions to 6 minutes and under--the original track is 5:41.

Let's assign a somewhat arbitrary deadline of 4/30. This can be negotiable if anybody feels like negotiating.

Also, if you don't have access to recording equipment, get in touch w me and I'll be glad to record you at my place!
