Cleveland 2010 Noise Compilation, a 2015 joint SKSK/Tantramoon release, is a retrospective sampling of material from the Cleveland noise scene of five years ago. Noise shows at Bela Dubby, Now That's Class!, The 71st Door, The Boo Box, Phonographic Arts, The Embassy and Tower 2012 often included free jazz, subtle experimentalists, ambient drone, noise bands, performance artists and even thrash bands along with pure harsh noise and industrial. During this time Live Bait Recording Foundation documentary City/Ruins was being filmed by Stephen Petrus and Aaron Vilk, and the thrilling and inclusive Audio Visual Baptism monthly show series drove the noise scene. This compilation includes tracks from 27 artists, and is still not comprehensive, as surely some great performers were left out, and many acts from Detroit, Chicago, West Virginia and other parts of Ohio regularly came through town.
